Downtime:3 days
Post-care:After Revanesse treatment, avoid touching or massaging the treated area unless instructed, and limit strenuous activities, sun exposure, and alcohol for at least 24 hours. Gently apply a cold compress to minimize swelling, and refrain from makeup application to the treated area for the first 24 hours. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising is normal, but contact your practitioner if symptoms are severe, persist beyond a week, or if you notice lumps or signs of infection.
Risks:Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, bruising, pain, tenderness, itching, and lumps/bumps at injection sites. Less common or serious risks include allergic reaction, infection, persistent nodules, skin discoloration, and vascular occlusion (a rare event that can lead to tissue damage, scarring, or vision problems).
