Post-care:After Matrix™ Radiofrequency Microneedling, expect redness and swelling for several days, applying towel-wrapped ice packs to minimize discomfort. Keep the treated area clean with a gentle cleanser, maintain hydration with recommended moisturizers, and strictly avoid harsh products like retinoids for two weeks. Protect skin from sun exposure for at least two weeks with SPF 30+ and avoid strenuous activities or hot baths for 48 hours.
Risks:Mild side effects may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, dryness, scaling, itching, and temporary acne or cold sore flare-ups. Less common but more serious risks include burns, changes in pigmentation (dark or light spots), scarring, and infection. Other potential risks include prolonged redness/swelling, prolonged bleeding, fatigue, headaches, allergic reactions to needles, or lines on the face.
