It's been three years since the surgery, and the double eyelid on my left eye has completely disappeared. Since I had the surgery, the design was uneven (the left was lower, and the right was higher), and when I inquired at the clinic, they said it was due to swelling. After about half a year, it became completely uneven, so I had to use double eyelid tape and double eyelid glue.
My mother had a forehead lift, brow lift, and facial lift at Ruby Plastic Surgery about a month ago. She had always been worried about sagging around her forehead and eyelids, and she said her expression looked somewhat heavy and tired, which made her upset. She even mentioned that the skin overlapping behind her sagging eyes was chafing. She couldn't just leave it as it was, and initially, she only wanted to get a brow lift... but since she was doing it, she decided to be brave and get a full facelift from her forehead down to her neck ^-^ The recovery was faster than expected, and after about two weeks, most of the bruising and swelling had gone down. It's been exactly a month now, and the scars are barely visible. Her face looks much smoother and fresher, and her friends and acquaintances keep asking her questions and complimenting her on her improved appearance.
More than anything, my mother has regained a lot of confidence. These days, she’s going to more singing performances than before, and she’s even going out to blind dates she never used to do. She’s living her days so busy! I truly support my mother’s new romance~ and we're all welcoming her future partner! Her cheerful smile has increased, which makes our family extremely happy. I feel so proud that I was able to do such a meaningful thing for her, and I wanted to share this real surgery experience.
I initially had a buried eyelid procedure at Ruby, but it loosened, so I had an incision procedure afterward! It's been holding up well so far, haha. If you're worried about double eyelids, I recommend the incision method... buried procedures tend to loosen easily! 😢 I think the definitive result is from the incision method, haha.
The consultation was quite relaxed / There was a little wait
It was with the head doctor.
They explained in detail and there was time to ask questions, which was good.
It's not a hospital famous for the nose, and even though it's a donation cartilage, the cost was expensive.
The first downside was:
They forced a reservation deposit, which is non-refundable.
The second downside was:
They used artificial implants that are not commonly used nowadays, and it wasn't the material I wanted.
The third downside was:
I wanted autologous cartilage, but they recommended donation cartilage, so I don't think this is a clinic that specializes in autologous rhinoplasty.
Apart from that, the hospital was clean,
and the staff at the front desk and the director were just so-so in kindness.
It seems like the correction included silicone + mesh + donation cartilage + other methods (short nose).
It's been a while, but I heard from someone that their eye surgery went well, so I was recommended and went for a consultation.
I have ptosis (drooping eyelid), so I went for a consultation for eyelid correction and double eyelid surgery.
While I was there, they suddenly kept insisting I also do contour and nose work, which I found unpleasant.
They said I could get a discount if I did everything at once, and their attempts to secure a deposit were quite aggressive.
The counseling with the director was a huge part of the process. Originally, I was planning to consult with the CEO director, but the director recommended Mr. HKG, so I went with him. Since he's been a professor, he mentioned that the consultation could feel like a lecture, and honestly, it did feel like I was just attending a class. I told him what kind of look I wanted for my eyes and asked if the space between my eyes and eyebrows, as well as the distance between my eyes and my nose, would become narrower. He showed me references and explained that it wouldn't really get narrower, and during the lecture, it seemed like the consultation just ended casually. He didn't seem to lack skill, though; I only had a consultation and left.
My friend went to get double eyelid surgery and it turned out really well, even though her eyes are totally different from mine (without monolids, big eyes, thin eyelids). People who know I got double eyelid surgery ask me a lot where I had it done... However, I strongly recommend eye shape correction as it’s almost essential. If you dislike eye shape correction, I really don’t recommend this place (they suggest it because my eye-opening strength is weak).
Two years ago, I had surgery at Ruby Plastic Surgery with Director Ko Young-il, but now he's no longer at Ruby and is elsewhere. During my first surgery, the lines on both sides were different, so they did a free revision at Ruby. The revision was very successful. However, maybe it's a characteristic of the directors, but… it seems there's no way to avoid the difference in treatment after surgery. When I went back after my initial unsuccessful surgery, the treatment was… lol. But now, I'm happy with the results.
I had a double eyelid fold re-surgery! I'm completely satisfied ㅠㅠ Especially, the front eyelid was very beautiful immediately after the procedure!!
People always say my eyes are pretty ㅎㅎ.. It was a hospital I was very satisfied with!!
It's been about 2 years now.
I had double eyelid surgery with natural adhesion about 5 years ago, and it lasted for about 6 months when I first did it... so it loosened.
I got an aftercare treatment at the same hospital with the same doctor, but it loosened again after 4 years. I think the problem is that my eyes can't maintain natural adhesion, and since it loosened twice, I won't be doing a re-operation here.
