Six years ago, I had a hidden stitch procedure at a factory-style hospital, and I was living without any major complaints. Then, about half a year ago, one of my eyes started to occasionally relax, and by 3-4 months ago, it completely relaxed, so I kept wearing double eyelid tape. It was annoying to put on the tape every day, and my eyelid skin also felt stinging, so I started looking into reoperation. I decided to have the revision surgery at Ywabek Plastic Surgery Center with a hidden stitch method! I asked for the line to be just a bit higher than the original, and I’m really happy with the result now. Since it was done under local anesthesia, I didn’t experience much swelling on the same day. I usually swell quite easily, so I was worried, but compared to my first surgery, it hardly swelled at all—honestly, I was a bit surprised. Personally, I don’t like to have sleep anesthesia often, so I deliberately chose this hospital. Also, I think the local anesthesia was just numbing eye drops…? I think I was able to endure it pretty well. If you’re considering double eyelid surgery, I think it’s best to do it right away. Truly… escaping from double eyelid tape is so much more comfortable… I should have done it earlier!!!!!
Since I was always worried about having monolids, two acquaintances of mine had double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty, so I asked the hospital about it, and I went for a consultation there. I absolutely wanted a natural look, and as soon as I went to the consultation room, the director outlined the line exactly like that (I used to wear double eyelid tape before surgery, and the surgeon matched that line perfectly), so I booked right away. They perform the procedure under sedation, which is common, and even though it can be painful since it's a partial procedure, I felt less anxious. It's a one-person clinic, so it didn't seem like a factory setting, and all the bruising and swelling completely subsided about a week or two after the surgery. Now, the residual swelling is gradually going down, and surprisingly, it went away pretty quickly. After about three weeks, I met up with friends, and they complimented how well the line was defined, so I’m really satisfied. I keep checking myself in the mirror. If you're looking for natural double eyelid surgery, I recommend you try the consultation at this hospital. I've also heard many say that the director is unfriendly, but I didn't feel that way at all.
Hello! I had a 15-minute quick eyelid surgery and front fold surgery at IwaBaek over a month ago. Now, the swelling is almost gone, and it looks very natural. From the consultation, the director was very kind, and the hospital atmosphere was calm, which I liked. Above all, since it's a one-person clinic, I felt very reassured. The doctor is already famous for their skills, and they didn’t recommend excessive treatments, only suggesting what would make me look prettiest, which I really appreciated. They are even more cautious than I am, so I felt very attentive and meticulous! Ultimately, I am extremely happy with my eyes now, and I’m praying they don’t loosen up. Even if they do loosen up a lot later, I will definitely visit IwaBaek again... The doctor has excellent taste, and the assistants who helped me relax during the surgery were wonderful too. I highly recommend IwaBaek!
Since I originally had a single eyelid, even after my first double eyelid surgery, the line height was still uneven, so I underwent revision surgery for correction.
The height at the inner corner of my eyes became much more natural, and although I still have a bit of asymmetry, people around me don't even notice that I had revision surgery, and only I am aware of the asymmetry now, so I am satisfied with the results.
Since it's a one-person clinic, I trusted the doctor's skill and had the surgery. Three years have already passed, and now it looks completely natural.
The atmosphere is just a little there, and I didn’t wait long.
The consultation with the director wasn’t too long, but not too short either.
It might be possible to have a longer consultation if you prepare questions in advance.
They seem to explain things thoroughly when asked.
However, the surgical method differs somewhat from other clinics, and I have some doubts about whether it’s okay, so I plan to look around for more consultations before deciding.
The skills seem to be good.
It turned out more inline than I expected, rather than in and out. Still, I’m pretty satisfied with how it looks, but one side came undone.
But people around me can’t tell I got double eyelid surgery at all—it looks very natural. I kind of want to have the other side redone... ㅠ ㅠ
Local anesthesia and sedation are available.
If you don't want anything obvious, I recommend it.
It's not the feeling of a double eyelid fold on the inside.
I don't remember the exact price.
During the consultation, the director was very friendly and appeared confident, so I paid the reservation fee. However, after reading reviews, it seems like they mainly do eyelid sewing procedures and don't do much contour reduction, so I removed the reservation fee. It also seems like they subtly use brokers, so I’m not really sure what’s what.
The director's consultation was honest and conservative, which I liked, and they answered all of my numerous questions, helping me organize my thoughts.
The manager's consultation was also kind and explained everything in detail, making it easier for me to make a decision.
Especially, the prices are very reasonable.
I'm considering it because I find the incision line in the post-surgery review to be a bit less natural, which is a bit disappointing.
This is a review of an incision in-and-outline + eye shape correction + front eyelid revision.
My eyes were far apart, and I had a lot of fat on my eyelids, which caused my pupils to be largely obscured and made my eyes look sleepy due to a lack of eye-opening strength, so I decided to undergo surgery.
I liked that the line looked natural when they drew it, and the director and the doctor explained things in a detailed and friendly manner, which gave me trust.
They answered each question calmly, so I felt confident in them.
Above all, performing the procedure under local anesthesia and removing only a small amount of fat from the eyelids seemed safe.
The director mentioned that they only perform three surgeries a day, which I thought was good because they could focus on my procedure.
Woori Baek Plastic Surgery Clinic has the best reviews, and they do a good job of customizing the procedures to meet patient needs.
The swelling is going down now, and it’s gradually shaping into the look I had envisioned, so I am very satisfied.
The hospital is small and has a somewhat modest feeling. After briefly lowering my mask and checking the overall image of my face, they recommended the most suitable line for me, which I liked. They advised that the front eyelid fold is optional and that just the incision is sufficient, only recommending the necessary procedures, which built my trust. The other patient reviews shown during the consultation indicated some swelling, but overall, they looked natural. So, I am currently considering this hospital as a surgical candidate.
