I received Thermage FLX for 600 shots last October, and now it's been 5 months. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend it. In dermatology clinics, some popular premium lifting treatments are Ultherapy and Thermage. Ultherapy is typically used for thicker skin lifting, while Thermage is for thinner skin. Those in their 20s might not realize this now, but once you start feeling signs of skin aging in your 30s, it becomes pretty clear — skin gets thinner, duller, fine lines don't go away, and you feel a noticeable loss of elasticity.
I generally take good care of my skin, but I still started to feel aging signs, so I looked into treatments and decided to get Thermage (I’ve tried Inmode, Ultherapy, and others, but didn’t really notice much effect, so I just decided to take the plunge and get the most expensive one). When you consult about Thermage, they always tell you that right after the procedure, the effects aren’t visible much, and you have to wait 2-3 months to see results. Honestly, for the first month after the treatment, I didn’t even notice any skin improvement. Looking at some promotional reviews on Naver blogs, people say they saw huge improvements just 2 weeks or a month after the procedure, but the core principle of Thermage is collagen regeneration, so short-term effects aren’t really possible.
However, as if by magic, from around two months, I could truly feel my skin becoming more elastic. My skin texture improved, the tone seemed brighter, and most importantly, the peculiar feeling of loss of elasticity disappeared drastically. Fine lines around the eyes and under the eyes, as well as smile lines and wrinkles that appear when I smile around the mouth, also improved significantly. My skin now has a youthful glow?? I’ve been told by those around me that I look prettier, younger, and that my makeup looks better — I think these might be the effects of Thermage. It’s a bit painful while getting the treatment, but I genuinely want to get it again, even enduring the pain. The doctor advised to do it once a year, but honestly, I want to do it again next month… it’s true — when it comes to skin, the more money you pour into it, the better it gets.
